You do find item...I love stopping by Bamber's. You do find items that you don't see anywhere in South Bend. I buy chocolate (and other pastry items) for baking that I'd either have to order on internet or when I visit Chicago or other big city. I started back shopping here a couple years ago and this was a store that I regularly went to as a child in the 70s. It was much different then and I have memories of the candy counter by the check-out counter; the ham salad and chicken salad! LOL...I love the gourmet feel of it now. They have like a zillion types ...I love this place! They have like a zillion types of soda, delicious yogurt in glass bottles, and seemingly an entire aisle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. They do have a prepared food deli too if you're stopping for lunch.
